Don’t lose hope

There are still kind people out there. Seriously.

Just yesterday, I was blundering around the IHP room, Aeroscout office and CAL2 looking for some place to print my weekly journals. I didn’t want to go to CAL2 initially as I did not want to pay a cent for the printings. Yes, I am cheap that way. Hence, I was wandering around the IHP room looking for printing papers to print my weekly journals. To no avail.

So yeah… went over to CAL2 with just a thumb drive, was too lazy to bring my laptop along. Couldn’t get printing paper from there either. <.<

Meh, whatever. Asked 1 of the students there if I could use her laptop to print and if she had a usable ez-link card (mine isn’t since mine is the new version. The damn school should really update its hardware, I tell ya.)

Guess what? Not only did she do everything to help me print (there were some problems with the printer)… she also paid for my prints. Which is like wtf. I’d wanted to pay her, but no matter how much I insisted, she’d refuse. Wouldn’t even let me leave $1 on the table she was at.

I know it didn’t cost much, but to have a total stranger be so nice and even pay for my stuff… it’s a good feeling. Kinda made me feel like spreading the kindness around.

So maybe I shall. I’ll start by abusing a potential loophole in the attendance marking system. Not gonna tap today, see if I’m still marked as present. If I am indeed marked as present… every Monday and Thursday I’ll be free. :D Then I’ll head out and probably buy some tissues from the old lady selling tissues by the road side or something. But only if it costs 10cents.
