WoW post… again.

Yeap. World of Warcraft post again.

I’ve noticed another thing about my characters. All my Horde toons are DPS classes (mage & rogue), whereas I’ve got all 3 roles covered for Alliance – druid for healing, DK for tanking and dps, warlock & hunter for dps.

Here’s the thing about my DK tank though. Kesleia can’t tank for nuts. I hold agro. I make sure to use cooldowns when they are up. I am defense capped. and spent shit loads of money on gearing up. I try to make sure the mobs do not go after the healer, so that we are all kept alive. I just go down waaaaay too fast to down the bosses tho.

I’m pretty sure it’s not a lack of tanking experience – I’ve tanked NR instances all the way to level 80. Just not the heroics. I was told I was one of the best darn tanks ever, when I was leveling and tanking instances. But.. change the difficulty to heroics, and I just fail. WTF. I still have no idea what the fuck is wrong. In fact, I am sooo tempted to roll a warrior/paladin and try to tank, just to see if DK tank is not the tanking class for me.

Once I solve my tanking problems on the DK, I will have all 3 roles covered. Heals is good. DPS is good as well despite being in mostly blues. I can even out dps loads of people that are in full epics. Tanking is in the works. Ranged dps (warlock) is in the works too and will eventually get to 80. Only 8 more levels to go after all.

Horde side… rogue is 71 and mage is 62. I’ll take my time to level them. That’s ranged and melee dps covered. DPS is easy, so it shouldn’t be a problem. Heck, I may even go to heroics a lil undergeared and come out with epics.

I also have several mid level Horde toons and.. guess what? All 3 can heal! They’re on different servers tho <.< Paladin, shaman and priest. Paladin is 4x, so I’m thinking of leveling him… and maybe try out tanking on him, see if it goes better than DK tanking.
