I’ve actually been thinking of moving out and just living on my own. There’s this apartment my grandpa has at Holland Village, with just 1 room rented out, so if I brought up the topic with him, I’m pretty sure I can live there.

The factors I have to consider are : money, internet and housework.

Money. Let’s say, for daily expenses… $15 for food. $2 for transport (bus concession pass ftw and assuming I’m never late, so I don’t take the MRT at all). $0.80 for WoW. That’s still under $20 per day, seems manageable.

Phone bills? Internet? Well, my phone bills are currently being paid for by my mum, so it isn’t much of an issue – unless my mum decides not to pay for it anymore AGAIN. Yeah. Internet? Hmm… it might actually be a good chance for me to get a mobile subscription, but then… too WOLS! Or I could just make Starbucks my second home. After all, it’s just across the road from where I’d be living. Otherwise.. $50 per month? That’s like $2/day, which still keeps the total daily expenses under $20.

Electric/water bills, rent, etc? Well… it’s my grandpa’s place after all, surely I don’t have to pay? :x

Housework. That’s where the problem lies. Just ONE word, and it evokes such terror. I’m just sooooooo not cut out for housework. Baking for fun? Sure. Cooking? Hell no. Housework? Shoot me, please.Regarding this issue, it’s a major headache that I think I’ll just skirt around for the time being.

I’d probably have to pick up a job to support my lifestyle. One that pays $6 per hour, at least, so I can just work from 7pm-10pm or something. Weekends to make up for the remaining amount left and whatever else I need.

Come to think of it… it’s actually pretty feasible. Assuming my parents allow, of course ._.
